All About Yoga Wellness

Yoga is an ancient practice going back as far as 1700 BCE that arose from religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. It incorporates breath work, meditation, and poses, bringing mind and body together in a place of vast relaxation. Yoga not only helps improve strength and flexibility, but it also reduces stress and increases self-confidence, among many other benefits.

Hatha Yoga

The word hatha means strong, willful, or forceful. 
Hatha yoga is the science of harmonizing Pingala and Ida; or the solar and lunar energies within us so as to bring our higher consciousness to life. It is the science of activating the third, central nadi- Sushumna - which is the path to enlightenment.
In this class you will experience gentle movement through different poses while incorporating breath work and focus to increase our flexibility, strength, mood and overall well-being.

Headstands

Power Yoga

Power Yoga is specifically designed to increase muscle strength and cardiovascular endurance. The poses are more challenging and are moved through quickly in a flow state. It is also a great form of yoga for burning calories. Although power yoga is less relaxed and meditative than any other yoga class, it still requires mindfulness and focus on your breath.

Candlelight Yoga

This class is in a beautiful setting to truly relax and let go anything weighing you down. A place to unwind from the chaos of life. In this class we will follow the philosophies of Hatha Yoga with the enhancement of calm candlelight and soft music.

Hot Yoga

Join us for a Flow styled class set to the temperature of 30 degrees celsius. Be prepared to challenge yourself mentally and physically, but also know, this is YOUR practice and you may create/take whatever variations and modifications your body needs.

Ashtanga/Vinyasa Flow

Class will be set to music. Using your breath to link each movement as you flow through a variety of sun salutations. we will create heat, twist, bend and balance! This class will be challenging but modifications will be available. Please come well hydrated and ready to sweat!

Gentle Flow (Sunset Deep Stretch)

Class will be set to music. A perfect way to wind down! If you are a beginner, this class is for you! Using breath work and gentle mindful transitions and movement we create heat, gently strengthen and lengthen.
